As a trans person, I wish that people would stop expecting me to speak for all other trans people.

Yes, I'm a public figure. Yes, I'm more willing to answer some of those questions than other people.

But my experience is my own. And it's unique, just like everyone else's.

I don't preface myself as a gay person, as a queer person, as a trans person.

I just feel like I'm able to be myself. And that's the goal, isn't that?
